Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: Our van will pick you up from your local accommodations and transport you to our warehouse for an orientation and gear outfitting. After packing with your guide, our van will transport you to Douglas harbor, where will will depart by water taxi. Enjoy an hour boat cruise to Oliver Inlet. Drop off by boat and portage gear on tram car to Seymour Canal. Paddle to nearby island or coastal beach to set up camp.

Day 2: Pack up camp and paddle towards Windfall Island. If time allows in the afternoon, you can make the short paddle from Windfall Island to Pack Creek. Since we don't have permits to guide in Pack Creek, you will need to go on your own. A Forest Service Ranger will meet you at beach and give you a safety briefing. There are two viewing platforms at Pack Creek, one near the beach/river drainage, and the other by taking a trail hike through the woods. You will spend the day at Pack Creek and then paddle back to meet up with your guide. Camp on Windfall Island.

Day 3: Spend the morning paddling around Seymour Canal, looking for bear and marine wildlife. In the afternoon, pack up gear and head back towards Oliver Inlet. Set up campsite along the way.

Day 4: Paddle back to Seymour Canal/Oliver Inlet and set up campsite. Hike around the area or just relax on the beach.

Day 5: In the morning, you will portage your gear across the tram to the Oliver Inlet side. Our water taxi will pick you up in Oliver Inlet and transport you back to Juneau. Once we arrive in Douglas boat harbor, our van will transport you back to our warehouse to unload gear and celebrate!
